Amavida is our usual go-to for coffee on 30-A. We had had a hearty breakfast at Great Southern just a couple of hours prior and we weren’t really ready for lunch, but we wanted to peek around Rosemary Beach and Nikki wanted some coffee, so it was a good fit.
I didn’t get anything. Wanted to save room for lunch at George’s…
Nikki got some kind of blended white mocha drink. It wasn’t necessarily anything special, but the shop did play decent music. They played a Sun Kil Moon song (don’t remember which one), but that alone was enough for me to want to come back.
Like I said, we always go to Amavida for coffee when we’re on 30-A. There have 3 locations: Seaside, Rosemary, and Panama City. I think they carry a good amount of organic, fair trade whatever. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know coffee… But anyway we haven’t tried others like Fonville Press or Hibiscus, so we don’t really have much to compare Amavida to, but it’s locally owned, so that’s a definite plus.
